Makeup December 3

Went a little crazy with the makeup tonight. I wanted to do something creative, and once I sat down at my desk and pulled out some eyeshadows and my face paint palette I felt inspired. I've been wanting to do a galaxy makeup for quite some time now. I've seen some artists on youtube do them and I thought I'd finally try it. This is my own original design, aka I didn't copy a youtubers design (although I did look at reference photos of the nighttime sky)

Eyelash glue is a pain in the butt. Maybe i'm just totally out of practice, or I'm using a crappy glue. Getting the jewels to stick was tricky, but gluing on the eyelashes was down right impossible. It took me forever to get them relatively on. Maybe I just need to keep practicing. It is very discouraging when you glue your top eyelid to your bottom lid though!

This one was more enjoyable to some extent. I played with some really fun colors and just went wild.  I wanted to make it a little more editorial so I extended my brows inward a tiny bit as well as making them pretty dark. I also took the blue shadow all the way up under my eyebrows from the beginning to the end. So basically a rainbow smacked me in the face.

For these makeups I used BH Cosmetic eyeshadows, NYX Cosmetics "Primal Colors" Eyeshadows, gems from AC Moore, white Mehron Paradise Paint Duo eyelash glue, and Ardel lashes

Legnard and Tarleton Family

 The Legnard and Tarleton Family

This is one cool family, and on top of being great people, they are picture perfect! This session was so much fun. The girls loved dressing up, not too sure I can say the same for the boys, but Krystal managed to pull everyone together. Three generations of this family all in one picture :) -Meg

Bryan's Engagment

Location: Downtown Annapolis, City Dock

This was one of the most special moments I've ever had the chance to photograph. I was asked to take candid shots of this man proposing to his now fiancé. It was the sweetest thing I think I've ever seen. Once she said yes, everyone across the water from Pussers started cheering and clapping. It truly was a beautiful and special moment.
